Edith A. Witschy, nee Copeland, 89, of Schaumburg, formerly of Des Plaines and Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Emil O. Witschy, whom she married June 17, 1945; loving mother of Emily (Roger) Adams, Linda Swanson and Emil A. (Amy) Witschy; cherished grandmother of Jenny (Gary) DuHamel, Vicki Adams, Christian Witschy and Ian (Jen) Witschy; proud great-grandmother of Hayley and Raegan DuHamel; dear sister of Carl Copeland; sister-in-law of Mary Gulia; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Visitation Tuesday, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg and in state Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 208 E. Schaumburg Rd., Schaumburg. Interment private.
