– Sofia Coppola has given birth to her first child, a daughter named Romy, the filmmaker’s spokesman confirmed Wednesday. The baby was born Tuesday in Paris to Coppola and Thomas Mars, singer for the French band Phoenix.
– Snoop Dogg was arrested for investigation of illegally possessing a gun and drugs as he left NBC Studios after performing on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.” The rapper and two members of his entourage were busted Tuesday after a search of his home and car, Burbank, Calif., police said.
