Chicago Tribune Charities, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation, hosted the Bump ‘n’ Beach Bash on Friday, July 28, 2006 at Moretti’s, 1645 W. Jackson. Volleyball teams competed for prizes with sounds of Veruca Salt and the Sharky Doyles in the air. A live auction and silent auction were held with proceeds benefiting the not-for-profit organization.
