William Nelson, age 75; Capt, Supply Corp, USNR, beloved husband of 51 years of Betty Nelson, nee Adams; loving father of Kurt (Joanne), Douglas (Camille), and Richard Nelson; grandfather of Brittany, Amy and Michael; fond brother of the late Eunice (the late Richard) Olson. Owner of I.T.E. Distributing of Chicago. He was a Navy Veteran serving on USS IOWA as a supply officer. He continued in service to his country as a Naval Reservist, attaining the rank of Captain in the Supply Corp. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home,1500 S.
