Until every citizen of Chicago has enough to eat, the City Council should not be concerned with banning foie gras or changing restaurant menus.

It is ridiculous that city government would spend time and money legislating fatty acids or a goose liver delicacy while any of its people must rummage through garbage cans to stay alive.

As taxpayers we must hold our government to higher standards of efficiency and responsibility.
