After conquering the music world, U2 still hasn’t found what it’s looking for–at least by Bono’s standards.
“I want to see what else we can do with it, take it to the next level,” the rocker said on BBC radio recently, according to billboard.com. “We’re gonna continue to be a band, but maybe the rock will have to go; maybe the rock has to get a lot harder.”
So is U2 going Metallica on us?
Whatever they do can’t be as bad as the time they tried reinvention and treated us to the Village People-esque “Discotheque.”
