Beckey Sanks, 47, of Zion, IL, formerly of Chicago, died on Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at home. She was born Oct. 9, 1959, in Chicago and married Richard Sanks on June 6, 1986, in Chicago. Beckey was always generous in spirit and self. She loved life and cherished her family and friends. Beckey took joy in her pets and garden. Survivors include her beloved husband, Richard; son, Brandon Sanks; dear sisters, Lisa Rodroguizes, of Chicago, IL, Vicky (Tony) Attardo of Elmhurst, IL and Sandy (Mike) Prince of Lockport, IL; loving brother, Doug McLean of Elgin, IL; dear Aunt Fran and Uncle Jim Ruane of Cape Coral, FL; fond cousins, Kathy Parks, Fran Buttrum, Jim Ruane, Terri Valentino, Joe and Bill Schlagel, Mike, Chris and Rocco Corbino, Dee, Brian and Michael McLean. Preceded in death by father and mother, Doug and Shirley McLean. Visitation Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2006, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.
