Gregory J. “Greg” Kolman, age 54, a Lisle, IL resident for over 22 years, formerly of Chicago, Berwyn and Woodridge, IL, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007 at Edward Hospital, Naperville. He was born June 18, 1952 in Chicago. Beloved husband of Terri M., nee Storino, Kolman of Lisle, whom he married May 14, 1977; loving father of Adam and Kristin, both of Lisle; devoted son of the late Edward and Alice Kolman; dear brother of Barbara (Ed) Rerichs of Carol Stream, IL and Dorothy (John) Pyrczak of Long Grove, IL; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Greg grew up in Chicago’s Galewood neighborhood, near Riis Park. He attended St. John Bosco Elementary School and was a 1970 graduate of Weber High School. Greg completed undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago and received an MBA in Finance from Loyola University, Chicago in 1980. He was employed by Tripp Lite, Chicago as a manager for the last eight years. Greg enjoyed participating and watching sports, including baseball, basketball, football and golf and was an avid White Sox fan. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church in Naperville. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Friday, Jan. 5, at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trails Dr. in Naperville with Rev.
