Willi David, age 79, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007. Willi was a Hobart resident for 2 years and formerly of Tinley Park, IL. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War and was a retired mechanical engineer with Continental Can/White Cap in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Rita; daughter, Marilyn (John) Trimmel of Hobart; two grandchildren, Paul (Jill) Trimmel of Brownsburg, IN and Chrissie (Dan) Navarro of Hobart; three great-grandchildren, David Trimmel, Ella and Andrew Navarro. He was preceded in death by his grandson and “Little Buddy”, Joseph J. Trimmel in September, 2006. Funeral Service will be Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Cremation will follow the Service.
