Kent E. Peterson, 44, of Hoffman Estates, on Dec. 27, 2006, beloved husband of Barbara, nee Lemon; loving son of Wayne and Bernadine, nee Seifert, Peterson of Elkader, IA; dear brother of Susan Peterson of Appleton, WI; he is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kent was currently employed as an electrical engineer at Northrop Grumman, Rolling Meadows, IL. He was an avid skier and enjoyed camping, hiking and traveling with his wife and friends. Funeral to take place at the Norway Lutheran Church in St. Olaf, IA on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the Leukemia Research Program, C/O Richard A.
