Frank R. “Frankie” Simpson, age 80, of Oswego, IL, formerly of Berwyn, IL, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at the residence of his son. He was born May 22, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Charles and Agnes, nee Stransky, Simpson. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Prior to his retirement he was the plant manager of Western Acadia Mfg. Co., and succesive company name changes, in Chicago, IL. He is survived by a daughter, Deborah Nelson of Aurora, IL; four sons, James (Becky) Holub of Wisconsin, Robert (Lily) Holub of Hawaii, William (Laurie) Simpson of LaGrange Park, IL and John (Colleen) Simpson of Oswego, IL; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sophie, nee Lesiewicz, Simpson; and several sisters and brothers. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd. & Cremation Servicesat 210 S Madison St. in Oswego, IL.
