David A. Young, 56, a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn, recently of Naperville, IL. At rest suddenly, Jan. 6, 2007 at his home. He was born on April 11, 1950 in Des Plaines, IL to Paul and Dorothy Young. David is survived by his loving daughters, Lori (Matt) Higaki, Lisa (Jeff) Sanders, Shelli Young and Jessica Young; his special granchildren, Skylar, Sonja, Tristan, Cody, Payton, Adrian and Aaliyah; his former wife, Marilyn Young; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. David operated his family business, Young Rubber Company, Naperville, for many years. He was a member of the Jefferson Club, the Naperville Moose Lodge 1290, and also drove the Naperville Trolley on many occasions. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family and a fund will be established in his honor. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 11, 3 to 8 p.m. at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home,Naperville. A funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 12, 10 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
