Am I the only one who is tired of TV and radio news readers telling us how wonderful is our current warm weather? Now that we have reached the 40- to 50-degree average temperature during the season formerly called winter and we are approaching the 100-degree average July day, some of us have serious regrets over the passing of winters with snow and the many benefits a snow cover can provide. Even more people are concerned over the rapidity of climate change and what the implications of global warming will mean in the future.
I simply wish that broadcast weather and news readers would give us the daily forecasts and let the rest of us decide for ourselves whether we like them or not.
