This is only the eighth album in the Japanese psychedelic combo Ghost’s 23-year existence. Such a leisurely release schedule has yielded records highly distinct from one another, as well as anyone else’s. Even more powerful are the following three songs, with their fiery guitar leads, distorted vocals, pounding percussion and smog-thick electronic textures.
