John Francis Benoit, age 79, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Nov. 30, 2006. He was born in Sandwich, IL and moved to Leesburg, FL from Arlington Heights, IL 15 years ago. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was a member of the V.F.W. He is survived by his son, John Benoit of Palm Springs, CA; daughters, Cindy Riesing of Mt. Prospect, IL, Susan Benoit of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Beth Benoit of Des Plaines, IL; sister, Ann Kidd of Lady Lake, FL; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at Oehler Funeral Homeat Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, IL 847-824-4145.
