Though I often disagree with him, hurrah for Rick Morrissey on his stand regarding Mark McGwire and the Baseball Hall of Fame (Tribune, Jan. 10). Along with many others, I hope his feelings are the same regarding Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds, et al.
Home runs are not the only criterion for Hall of Fame honors. It matters not that certain drugs were not banned by baseball at the time. These players knew they were cheating and are not fit for enshrinement.
