In Charles Madigan’s Jan. 2column “What about a war for democracy here?” he correctly bemoans the large number of eligible voters who are not registered and the number of registered voters who do not bother to vote. The bigger problem is to help ensure that voters are casting informed votes. I am more afraid of ignorant voters voting that I am of the fallout from too few voters.
