Kanye West wants to be an innovator, and reality TV is sooooo five years ago.
The rapper told MTV News that his recently announced HBO show will flip the script–by being scripted.
“I wouldn’t do something as cliche as a reality show,” he said in a statement to MTV. “At least give me the credit for being more creative than that.”
Instead, the show, which West is working on with “Borat” director Larry Charles and music producer Rick Rubin, will be “a situational half-hour comedy … loosely based on my life.”
“Maybe this will give me the opportunity to spaz out at the Emmys one day,” Kanye joked.
