– The Bears gave Fox Sports a strong ratings performance Sunday. Nationally, the game did a 21.7 overnight rating of the nation’s top markets and 41 share; one national ratings point is worth more than 1 million homes and share is the percentage of TVs tuned to the broadcast. It was Fox’s largest rating for an early Sunday afternoon NFC divisional playoff game since 2000. Locally, the game did a 40 rating and 67 share; one local ratings point is worth more than 34,000 homes. That beat the Chicago-area rating for last year’s Bears-Carolina playoff game, which did a 38.6 rating.
