– “Project Runway” personality Tim Gunn will guest on “Ugly Betty” twice in February, executive producer Silvio Horta said in an interview. Gunn’s appearances will be on the Feb. 1 and Feb. 8 episodes of the hit ABC show. “I’m a big `Project Runway’ fan,” Horta said. “A lot of us watch the show; we talk about it a lot in the [writers’] room.”
– A couple of old buddies got together late Sunday when guitar prodigy John Mayer took the stage at Buddy Guy’s Legends nightclub and performed several songs with the bluesman, including a soulful rendition of “Feels Like Rain.” Mayer, who pops up on Guy’s new boxed CD set, “Can’t Quit the Blues,” told the crowd that before heading back on the road, he wanted to get some pointers from the Chicago blues legend. – Jennifer Aniston will guest star on the March 27 season finale of Courteney Cox’s new FX drama, “Dirt.” Aniston will play Tina Harrod, a tabloid editor and competitor of Lucy Spiller, Cox’s character, who manipulates the lives of celebrities through her popular gossip magazine, DirtNow.
– Muhammad Ali is lending his name, image and reputation as the “Greatest Of All Time” to a snack food aimed at 18- to 24-year-olds. It’s the former heavyweight champion’s first foray into marketing his image since selling rights to his name and likeness for $50 million last year.
– Photographers snapping Prince William’s girlfriend found themselves the focus of attention Monday after her lawyers said they have collected video of them ahead of any possible harassment claims. Kate Middleton has been the subject of intense media focus recently after rumors of an impending betrothal to her longtime boyfriend started circulating.
