Rita B. David, age 84, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Rita was born April 24, 1922, in Salesia, Germany, to Karl and Emma, nee Ammich, Sussenbach. She had been a Hobart resident for 2 years and former longtime resident of Tinley Park, IL. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Willi on Jan. 3, 2007; and her grandson, Joseph J. Trimmel in Sept., of 2006; she is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (John) Trimmel of Hobart; two grandchildren, Paul (Jill) Trimmel of Brownsburg, IN and Chrissie (Dan) Navarro of Hobart; three great-grandchildren, David Trimmel and Ella and Andrew Navarro; two sisters, Christa (Herbert) David of Richmond, VA and Karolla May of Germany. Funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, 7 p.m., at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Pastor Richard Brown officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
