Josephine LaCoco, nee Morano, age 92, beloved wife of the late Frank LaCoco; loving mother of Gerald (the late Lorraine) LaCoco, Frank (the late Margaret) LaCoco, and Theodora (Benjamin) Rezba; dearest grandmother of Jerilyn Dudeck, Daniel (Nancy) LaCoco, Ann Marie (Tim) Gilboy, Michael (Leanne) LaCoco, Frank (Linda) LaCoco, Loriann (John) Fitzsimons, Joseph (Sara) LaCoco, Amanda Rezba and Claire Rezba; cherished great-grandmother of 15; dear great-great-grandmother of one. Josephine will be remembered for many things among them the great and unabated love she shared with Frank, her husband of 65 years and her pride and love for their family. She had a positive upbeat personality and was always eager for conversation; to share and to listen. Josephine was gifted with a wonderful memory for people and events and had a keen ability to tell stories in a way that made them come alive. She loved to read, saying it was the best way to keep learning all her life, and was proud of what she had learned on her own. Josephine showed us the meaning of sweetness and charity, and possessed a faith in God with an unshakable acceptance of his plan. She taught us to be unafraid of the future and to find the blessings in each day. Josephine’s cheerful grace will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
