John C. Baldenegro, 93, formerly of Fort Wayne, IN and Minooka, IL, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. He was born Nov. 22, 1913 in Guanajuato, Mexico. Survivors include son, John (Rebecca) Baldenegro of Columbia, SC, daughter, Mary (Ted) Kaleta of Elmhurst, IL; two grandchildren; one sister and one brother. Mass of Christian burial 11 a.m. Monday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State St. with calling one hour prior. Fr. Gary Sigler officiating. Calling 2 to 5 an 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. with Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Queen of Angels Catholic Church for Masses.
