Lois Clausen, 81, of Elgin, formerly of Chicago, passed away Jan. 17, 2007. She was born on May 16, 1925. Beloved daughter of the late James and Mae Christensen; loving wife to Otto Clausen of Elgin; fond mother to Carolyn (William) Price and David (Pamela) Clausen; dear grandmother to Tim (Theresea), Dan Price and Christianna Clausen; great-grandmother to Ethan Price; sister to James (Ann) Christensen. Lois had worked 35 years at the Midwestern Christian Academy. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St. (Rt. 31), Elgin, IL 60123. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. 847-741-8800 .
