Robert Joseph Peisner, age 95, of DeMotte, passed away Jan. 18, 2007, at St. Anthony Medical Center, Crown Point, IN. He was born on June 1, 1911, in Blue Island, IL, to Lillian (Shambo) and Frank Joseph Peisner, both deceased. He was a 1929 graduate of Thorton High School. On Feb. 14, 1942, he married Lorraine Reese, who survives. He was a pattern maker with Enterprise Pattern, Harvey, IL, for 57 years, a company which his father started. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Peisner, DeMotte, IN; daughter, Janet L. Ray, Suring WI; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brother, Harold (Barbara) Peisner, Tarpon Springs, FL. Robert was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, at 10:30 a.m., at The Christian Church of DeMotte, with David Buche, Minister officiating.
