– A story on page 3 of today’s Business section incorrectly identified an executive at United Airlines as the company’s top lobbyist. Michael Whitaker is the senior vice president of alliances, international and regulatory affairs at the airline and is not a registered lobbyist. In addition, a photo accompanying the story gave the wrong first name of the executive.
– The Journey column on Page 7 of the Jan. 14 Business section misstated a portfolio withdrawal strategy for individual retirement accounts. Money withdrawn from a Roth IRA cannot fulfill required minimum distributions from a traditional IRA. Rather, Roth withdrawals would be used to meet spending needs once the required minimum distribution is reached.
