Richard C. Esterquest Sr. “Pakus”, 80, a longtime resident of Des Plaines passed away on Jan. 20, 2007. He will be greatly missed by his family. Beloved husband of Lorraine, nee Manning; loving father of Jay (Marji), Richard Jr. (Kathy), Patti (John Almy), Mary McNeilley, James (Barb), Tom (Anne) and David (Sharon) and the late Robert; dearest grandfather of Sarah, Jane, Ricky, Robbie, Sean, Brogan, David, Brian, Laurel and Erin McNeilley, Samantha and Jonathan Kaplan, Brandon and Nicholas Norten; fond brother of the late Joanne (Sugie) Strauss. Richard will be missed by many dear friends. He was a leader in the advertising industry in the Chicago area for over 45 years. Proud decorated Army WWII Veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre in the Philippines. Visitation Monday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge.
