Standing 6 feet tall, Joe Theismann can see eye to eye with Rex Grossman. “I don’t buy it that you have to be 6-3 or 6-4 to be a great quarterback,” the former Redskins star said. “There are passing lanes you have to be able to see, regardless of how tall you are.” But the ESPN analyst does not see eye to eye with Grossman regarding the comment that he did not thoroughly prepare for the regular-season finale against Green Bay. “Rex Grossman should donate 1/16th of his salary to some charity after making that dumb statement,” Theismann said. “You’ve got [the] other guys busting their butts, and Rex says he’s thinking about New Year’s Eve. If he feels that way again in the future, I hope he’s smart enough not to say it publicly.”
