Born June 22, 1929 in Chicago, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at Northwest Community Healthcare, Arlington Heights, IL. Katie was a remarkable lady who was dearly loved by many family and friends. She was a member of the Golden Villanovans. Survivors include husband, Gene M. Lazich whom she married in 1951; son, Gary (Cindy) Lazich; daughters, Kathy (Jene) Bell and Kris Lazich; grandchildren, Michael (Janet) Lazich, David Lazich and Sharon Lazich; great-grandchildren, Abby Bell and Nicholas Bell; sister, Shirley Kastner. She was preceded in death by grandchild, Jonathan Lazich; parents, Fredrick and Katherine, nee Weber, Schwarze; sisters, Dorothy Trim, Magdalene Hartnett and Violet Breuckman; and brother, Frederick Schwarze.
