AN OPEN LETTER FROM BAG BOY

Dear Chicago Bears,

On behalf of the entire city of Chicago, as well as those who picked against you throughout the season, let me say, “Congratulations.”

This is not an apology. I was one of the few talking heads in the media who picked you guys to dust the Saints.

I would also like to say, quite simply, thank you. Thank you for finally putting the ’85 Bears to bed. Sorry, but 21 years are 21 years. Even I have grown tired of them. So thanks again Lovie for showing some guts and standing by Rex Grossman. Thanks running game, and thanks defense for spanking the Saints.

By all means, enjoy this. You deserve it. We’re all firmly in your corner as you move on against … oh no, it looks like the Colts. Oh, dear. Peyton Manning, we can’t stop him. We’ll never match up with that future Hall-of-Famer.

I just don’t see how in the world we can … Of course. Here we go again.

Forever in doubt,

Bag Boy
