The royals flew in on British Airways, in line with the prince’s recent announcement that he would forsake private jets to reduce his impact on the environment.
– Chicago jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis has won a gospel music Stellar Award for best instrumental album of 2006 for “With One Voice.” Lewis, best known for hits such as “The In Crowd” and “Wade in the Water,” says he got his start in music playing gospel at age 9. “The gospel world was there during those early, impressionable years,” he told the Tribune on Friday. “Jazz didn’t come into my life until my middle or late teens.”
