Suzanne Guthrie, 75, lost her long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Jan. 9, 2007, beloved wife of Melvin; mother of Laura, John (Mary); and grandmother of Caitlin, Sarah, Matthew, Andrew and Clare. She was a dedicated volunteer as a member of the Little Garden Club, she worked to help put on Evanston’s Garden Fair, did many volunteer projects for her church First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, Erie Seattlement House in Chicago and drove for F.I.S.H. of Evanston. In Florida, she worked for the Marco Island Art League and Urgent Care Center. A memorial service will be held at First Prebyterian Church of Evanston, July 3, at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the church at 1427 Chicago Ave, Evanston, IL 60201 or Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
