This is regarding “Daley gets backing of Obama; Senator says city `blossomed so much'” (Metro, Jan. 23). Barack Obama is publicly backing Richard M. Daley for mayor of Chicago and he also publicly backed Todd Stroger for the Cook County Board.
Perchance he has his eye on Springfield instead of the White House? Why is he getting enmeshed in local politics when he is allegedly considering a run for the presidency? Perhaps he is sly like the fox?
Through the years I have noticed that when people or things seem too good to be true, they usually are.
