Chicago: Light snow spreads over the area this morning and continues through the day. Gusty SW winds give wind chills in the single digits. Snow diminishes after midnight. Because of the fine nature of the flakes, only around an inch accumulation is expected. Winds shift NW at night.

HIGH: 22

LOW: 12

Note: Predicted high and low temperatures on the Tribune weather page are chronological–the “high” refers to the maximum reading expected during the day and the “low” is the minimum reading expected the following night.
