Peter J. “P.J.” DeSimone, age 81, at rest Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007. Born and raised in Chicago to the late Luigi and Rachela DeSimone. Retired from McNulty Brothers of Chicago in 1990. Member of the original Cabarets of Chicago. Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Loretta (nee Peel) DeSimone; children, Toni (Harold) Dorbin, Diane Ferguson and Louis DeSimone; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, one sister, Mary Paris, and brother-in-law, Bill Peel. Preceded by his twin brother, Mario “Shadow” (Frances) DeSimone; one sister, Anne (Sam) Raspante; one niece, Gerri Paris; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Jennie Peel. Funeral Services Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
