The amount of money spent on political campaigns is obscene. Why don’t we limit the amount that can be expended? It ought to be illegal to use tax dollars for this wasteful purpose too.
The joke is that the same people who are such spendthrifts want us to believe that they are capable of managing the rest of our tax money. Better we put them on an allowance before they break the bank.
