Arthur S. Nelson, 89, born Jan. 27, 1917, and a veteran of WWII, passed away Dec. 20, 2006 in Schaumburg, IL. He was the devoted husband of Mary Elizabeth; and loving father of Kent, David, the late Nancy, Joanne Ciffone, the late Susan Nelson Kean and Diane Mangan; beloved grandfather of Erik, Kent (Stephanie) Jr, Kristen, Laura (Tim) Hunnewell, Michael Ciffone, Kevin and Kelly Mangan; dear brother of Robert and Jeanne Howard. A Memorial Mass for Arthur S. Nelson and Susan Nelson Kean will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington IL.
