CARMEN DEL TORO, 21, and her boyfriend, Ernesto Ruiz, wait for his wash to get done at a Cicero laundromat while they watch a DVD, “Los Tres Huastecos.” Although the pair look like they’re watching s a romance, the film is really more of a comedy, “a Mexican ‘Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World,’ ” said an online review. Considered a classic, the 1948 film traces three Huastec (an indigenous people in Eastern Mexico) brothers–a priest, a soldier and an outlaw–who are raised separately but cross paths later in life. One actor plays all three brothers. Behind the couple is a child-sized Corvette to entertain kids who don’t have DVD players. Beyond that, there’s a pinball machine. The place looks huge. “It’s called the World’s Largest Laundromat,” Del Toro said. “The name says it all.”
