Loving son of the late Walter and Lilian Lewandowski; beloved husband of 56 years of Pauline; loving father of Thomas Lewand, Paula (Joe) Jamrosz and John (Annette) Lewand; dear grandfather of Nicholas and Zachary Lewand; five stepgrandsons; one stegreat-grandson; cherished brother of Richard (the late Muriel) Lewand, the late Harriet (Al) Allgaier and the late Chester (the late Evelyn) Lewand; fond brother-in-law of Dolores Good and Robert (Edna) Sztuk; dear uncle of many. Gene enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his poker buddies. In lieu of flowers, masses would be preferred.
