How long will editorial space be wasted on a dead institution, Marshall Field’s?
There are so many problems that need to be addressed.
A dead department store is not one of them.
Issues include the war in Iraq, the Olympic bid, airline passengers rights, the continuing discrimination against African-Americans, the rising deficit, the crumbling CTA system to name a few
The Tribune should wake up and ignore those fanatics.
Let’s move on and concentrate on what is important in America and Chicago now.
