Robert Walsh, age 81, of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Jan. 4, 2007. Survived by his beloved wife, Anita Walsh; two daughters, Donna (Ted) Taffe and Valerie (Lee) Walsh-Haines; one son, James Walsh; one sister, JoEllen Walsh; one brother, Raymond Walsh; stepdaughters, Susan (Tom) Cairns and Sheryl (Ronald) Stafford; stepson, Joseph P. (Mary) Smith; granddaughter, Kristin Rogers; grandsons, Robert Taffe and Nathen Walsh-Haines; great-granddaughter, Sophie Rogers; great-grandson, Scott (Shintana) Cairns; stepgranddaughters, Angela (Don) Capp and Amanda Stafford; stepgrandsons, Jason Stafford and Brian Stafford; stepgreat-grandsons, Jason Stafford Jr. and Michael Smith; stepgreat-granddaughters, Alexis and Isabella Cairns. A Memorial Celebration of Robert’s life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN, with a special Remembrance Service at 2 p.m. Robert was a graduate of DeLaSalle High School, a Veteran of WWII and a lifelong member of Midwest Operating Engineers Local 150 of Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to American Heart Association.
