HEY, WE’RE NOT PERFECT, in spite of spell check. Factiva, a Dow Jones company, spent a year tracking the top misspelled words in the American news media. The most mangled word of all was “judgment,” which was misspelled 2,860 times in the newspapers, business papers and magazines that Factiva’s analysis covered.
