Nancy Selk. To acknowledge the life of our wonderful, difficult, bright, smart, challenging, thoughtful, demanding, brave, fearful and grateful sister, Nancy Selk, who died April 2, 2007. Trained as a journalist, lawyer and mediator, was a lifelong progressive Democrat, fought hard for what she believed in. Struggled to live with constant pain of fibro-myalgia, chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety. Found joy and community among friends at RoseGate MoriManor, San Leandro. Survived by sisters, Merry and Patricia Selk; brothers-in-law Pasquale Mariniello & Larry Fine; nieces Nicole, Elanna & Juliet, nephew David; loyal friends Peter Sciara and Cyndi Berck.
