* Barack Obama’s national campaign manager, David Plouffe, and former Illinois Gov. James Thompson were part of the Saturday audience for Second City’s latest revue, “Between Barack and a Hard Place.” Obama, who appeared on David Letterman’s show Monday, has yet to check out the show.

* Jason Wahler, 20, of MTV’s “The Hills” hurled racial and homophobic insults at police when he was arrested over the weekend after punching a hotel security guard and passing out drunk in a hallway, a Seattle Police Department report said. It was Wahler’s third arrest since September.

* A lawyer for Howard K. Stern, former companion of Anna Nicole Smith, says Stern may sue media he believes are implicating him in the overdose deaths of Smith and her son.

* John McGinley, 47, who plays acid-tongued Dr. Perry Cox on “Scrubs,” married yoga instructor Nichole Kessler, 34, Saturday in Malibu, Calif.
