Peter G. Dugan, 81, formerly of Chicago, died on Saturday, April 18, 2007, in Des Monies, IA. Peter was born in Chicago, IL (family home from 1912 to 1984). He was the youngest son of John Michael Dugan Sr. and Norma Ellen, nee Dolan, Dugan. He attended St. Viator’s Grammar School and graduated Carl Schurz H.S. in 1944. He volunteered and served in WWII, along with his father and five brothers: Edward J. Dugan, Thomas C. Dugan, John M. Dugan Jr., Phillip D. Dugan and James F. Dugan (all deceased). He was honorably discharged a Sergeant from the Army 19th Bomber Squadron earning an American Theater ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater ribbon, Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Army of Occupation Medal Japan. His only sister, Norma Marie Pfeifer predeceased him. He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago. He worked as a salesman of construction materials for more than thirty years and was committed to promoting American made products. He married the late Adele Mason Dugan in 1949. Together they raised nine children and were married 38 years. Peter is survived by his nine children: Paul (Cindy), Timothy (Theresa), Carey A. Ryan (Donald), John (Janet), Clara (Chris Iverson), Mary B. Kottra (Kenneth), Keith (Nancy), Ellen N. Kostro (Mark), and Catherine M.
