James A. Frey, age 73, of Crown Point, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2007. Jim was raised in Chicago, IL. He is united and dancing in heaven wife his of 49 years, Mary M. Frey. Jim was retired Senior System Analyst from U.S. Steel – Gary works, with 25 years of service. He was the Senior District Coordinator for the AARP Lake County Division of Volunteer Income Tax Preparation for 15 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War- US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Martha Frey in 2005; grandson, John Michael Erdelac; his sister, Connie Harley; and his parents, Andrew and Betsy Frey; his is the loving and caring father of seven children; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:45 a.m. Going to Our Lady of Consolation Church, 8303 Taft St. Merrillville, In for a Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 p.m. Rev. Joseph Vamos, officiating. Interment at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schereville, IN.
