Florence Forsgren LaGrand, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, May 04, 2007 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born October 21, 1916 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Frederick and Florence Cassin Hintz. She was widowed and married Warren C. LaGrand on July 20, 1965. She was a 57-year member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star #514. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Lenard) Springer of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Shelley Westendorf of Statesville, NC, Julie Springer of Elkhart and Michael Springer of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Forsgren in 1955; second husband, Warren LaGrand in 1996; and his brothers, Frederick and Wills Hintz. Chapel service is 12 p.m. Indiana time, 11 a.m. Illinois time at Acacia Park Cemetery, Chicago, IL with calling one hour prior. Arrangements by D.O.
