Verizon has severed ties with singer Akon, who is being threatened with prosecution after he allegedly got frisky on stage with a 15-year-old during a concert in Trinidad, tmz.com reports. Verizon promoted Akon on its mobile phone music service, and said it would no longer sponsor the Gwen Stefani tour in which Akon is the opening act, according to TMZ.
