Ronald J. “Ron” Perry, age 72, a resident of Lombard, IL for 25 years, formerly of Woodridge, IL, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at his home. He was born April 22, 1935 in Lyons, NY. Loving Father of Lorna (Mario Wickel) Perry of Aurora, IL, R. Mark (Diane) Perry of Lombard, Steve Perry of Houston, TX and Dana (Shelley) Perry of Watervliet, MI; adored grandfather of Lauren, Rachael, Anthony, Natalie, Angelo, Lily and Twin Grandsons – Luke and Payton; cherished great-grandfather of Isabel and Nancy; devoted son of the late Francis and Alba Perry; dear brother of Carmela (John) Simeone of Geneva, NY and Francis “Butch” (Debbie) Perry of Newark, NJ; fond uncle of several, loving cousin to many; longtime companion of Phyllis Mautone of Westchester, IL; and former spouse of Cande, nee Alfaro Perry of Warrenville, IL. Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was employed with Nabisco, Inc., Naperville, IL for many years. He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. Visitation Tuesday, May 8, 4 to 9 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Closing prayers will begin Wednesday, May 9, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1500 Brookdale Rd., Naperville.
