Josephine E. Zotti, nee Bovaro, age 97, longtime Roseland area resident of Chicago, recently of Winnetka, passed away peacefully May 5 at Maryhaven in Glenview. Retired after 34 years of services as an Operator for Illinois Bell, she was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and proud to have been named “Miss Courtesy 1961-1962” at the Stewart Offices. Beloved wife of the late Nick E. Zotti (Aug. 16, 1989); loving mother of Carole (Al) Smith and the late George Zotti; proud “Noni” of Pamela (Glen) Jones, Nicki (Jim) McLain, Rick (Kerry) Freiberg, Michael (Judy) Smith and Eric (Kathy) Smith; great-grandmother of 12; great-great-grandmother of two; devoted daughter of the late Mary, nee Manfredo, and George Bovaro; sister of the late Mario (late Lena) Bovaro. Resting at Hills Funeral Home, 10201 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills, on Wednesday morning May 9, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 noon. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth.
